By accessing or using Questopia, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.
Acceptable Use
Questopia is designed to help homeschooling families track and celebrate learning progress. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
You May:
- Create profiles for your own children and track their learning activities
- Generate and download reports for personal, educational, or compliance purposes
- Share your children's progress reports on social media (at your discretion)
- Provide feedback and feature requests to improve our service
Prohibited Activities
- Attempting to access another user's account without permission
- Using the service to store or transmit malicious code or harmful content
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our source code
- Using automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service
- Reselling, sublicensing, or commercializing the service without authorization
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts are for individual family use only and may not be shared with other families without our written permission.
Subscription & Billing
Free Tier & Trial
Apprentice Plan (Free Forever): Get started with 50 activities per month, 1 child profile, and basic progress tracking at no cost.
Paid Plans: We offer a 30-day free trial for Family Guild with full access to all features. No credit card required to start your trial.
Subscription Plans
Family Guild: $19/month or $180/year (save $48). Includes unlimited activities, up to 5 children, portfolio-ready reports, and priority support.
Founding Family: $297 one-time payment for lifetime access with all Family Guild features forever, unlimited children, and exclusive founder benefits.
All paid subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription from your account settings.
Cancellation & Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Money-Back Guarantee: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact us for a full refund.
Intellectual Property Rights
Your Content: You retain all rights to the content you create (activity descriptions, photos, etc.). By using Questopia, you grant us a license to process and display this content solely to provide our service to you.
Our Platform: The Questopia platform, including its design, features, algorithms, and branding, is owned by Questopia and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our permission.
Important Disclaimers
Educational Tool Only: Questopia is a tracking and documentation tool. It does not provide educational advice, curriculum, or guarantee compliance with your state's homeschooling requirements. You are responsible for ensuring your homeschool program meets applicable laws.
AI Accuracy: While our AI strives for accuracy in skill mapping and educational standards alignment, it may occasionally make errors. You should review and verify all AI-generated content.
Service Availability: We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Questopia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination, you'll have 30 days to download your data. After that, we may delete your account and all associated data from our servers.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or through the app. Your continued use of Questopia after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
